Kunaev" in its daily work aims to create the necessary conditions for the formation and development of personality based on the achievements of science and technology, training and education of the younger generation, improving the education of citizens of Kazakhstan and makes every effort to ensure that provide the highest level of this activity.
The language school offers a wide range of English courses (all levels), both in groups and individually. Preparation for IELTS and Cambridge Exams, as well as other special courses. All courses at British House Almaty, including intensive ones, are conducted only by native speakers, which is the most effective way of learning and helps students learn the language faster.
As the only language school in Kazakhstan offering training in the new editions of the Cambridge University Press "English Unlimited" series, the courses are directly focused on obtaining a CEF certificate.
Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded a certificate confirming the level of English proficiency in accordance with CEF (A1-C2), while other schools use levels such as "Beginner" or "Intermediate".
Only native speakers teach at the school. A combined teaching method is used with an emphasis on a communicative approach and task orientation. Classes are aimed at mastering the true English language. This allows students to effectively and naturally develop oral, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar skills.
All general courses are based on the latest editions of the Cambridge University Press "English Unlimited" series. This series was chosen because this course is specifically designed to help the student communicate in English in real situations by achieving specific communication objectives taken from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF) (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). In order to make the learning process interesting and most effective, British House students are provided with the most modern teaching methods and equipment, namely interactive whiteboards and electronic equipment for the classroom.
The CEF is a guideline used in Europe and increasingly around the world to describe the achievements and levels of knowledge of foreign language learners. The six levels of CEF (A1-C2) are recognized worldwide to measure levels of English (and other languages) and are part of the globally recognized Cambridge ESOL testing system.
